Your commitment is essential to the spiritual formation of our youth, and we couldn’t do this without you.
What is the EDGE Core Team?
The CORE Team is a group of adult volunteers who walk alongside and mentor the youth in the EDGE program. Together, we:
• Plan engaging activities and events
• Lead small-group discussions
• Support the spiritual growth of our middle school youth
What is the Confirmation Core Team?
The Confirmation Core Team is a group of dedicated adult volunteers who guide and mentor teens preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Together, we:
• Help lead engaging lessons and faith-sharing activities
• Support candidates in completing their preparation requirements
• Accompany teens in deepening their relationship with Christ and living out their Catholic faith
What is the Life Teen Core Team?
The Life Teen Core Team is a group of passionate adult volunteers who inspire and mentor high school youth in their journey of faith. Together, we:
• Plan dynamic Life Nights and youth events
• Facilitate small-group discussions that connect faith to real life
• Walk alongside teens as they grow in discipleship and live as witnesses of Christ in the world
You don’t need to be a catechist (teacher) to join.
What matters most is your willingness to accompany our young people,
share your faith, and be a positive role model in their journey toward Christ.

📅 1. -Participate in Core Team

A special time to connect as a team, receive formation, and prepare ourselves for the mission ahead.
✅ 2. VIRTUS Training (Mandatory)
The Archdiocese of Atlanta requires all volunteers who work with youth to complete VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training.
Date Option at STA:
Saturday, August 24 – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Room 204)
Or, find another training session at a nearby parish through VIRTUS Online.
