Session Two:
God’s Powerful Blessings:
How the Sacraments Restore us to Wholeness
God blessed us from the beginning and called us very good. His divine nature lives in us. Then why do we have such a difficult time believing this? Is it because we allow our wounds to define our identity? In the holy sacraments Christ instituted, Jesus himself is alive and present. Hear Kevin Sevcik speak of our invitation to healing.
Kevin Sevcik is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Associate Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. He practices at Transfiguration Counseling.

Centering Prayer Group
at STA
Father Keating advocates Centering Prayer as a
relationship and a discipline,
which uses a “sacred word” that is designed to lead into silence, a symbol of one’s intention to consent to God’s presence and action within. We begin with a reading from
“The Daily Reader for Contemplative
Living: Excerpts from the Works of Father
Thomas Keating,” Paperback—2009, then follow with 20 minutes of silent Centering Prayer. The group is facilitated by Brian O’Shea and gathers most Tuesdays via ZOOM from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. If interested or want to find out more, please email Brian at oshea.bp@gmail.com.
